NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine Chapter
Student American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics
Mission: The Student AOAO group began in 2006 and stems from the vision of a student run organization under the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO, Academy). This organization works to bridge the gap between orthopedic physicians and student physicians in order to provide experiences and opportunities to better influence students in the field of orthopedics.
Our Chapter: The SAOAO at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to enhancing student’s involvement in the osteopathic orthopedic community. We will achieve this through guest speakers, a journal club, hands-on demonstrations and workshops, unique networking opportunities, and volunteer and fundraising initiatives.
