Muslim Student Association (MSA)

Mission: The Muslim Student Association aims to promote cultural and religious tolerance within the school community by providing resources for members to be able to practice and apply their religion. The MSA aims to encourage faith alongside medical education so that it may be integrated into our lives as healthcare professionals.

Our Chapter: The NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine MSA Student Chapter exists to provide guidance to students on campus by discussing religion alongside our lives and within the medical practices. During the year, club meetings are held in which speakers are invited. Such speakers may include private practice physicians, or even religious experts.The MSA holds a variety of events throughout the year, all of which students of any faith are welcome to take part in. During the month of Ramadan, the MSA holds iftaars for those who are fasting. In addition, the MSA hosts an Eid Banquet on campus to celebrate the holiday with the school community.
