American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA)

Mission:  The mission of AMWA is a global effort to provide assistance for women in medicine, both to advance the careers of female medical professionals and to improve women’s health. Through education and advocacy, AMWA seeks to achieve these goals and improve healthcare for all.

Our Chapter: AMWA hosts a series of panels and presentations focusing on the experience of female physicians, a global perspective on women’s health and current issues in women’s health. We are also very proud to host the Vagina Monologues in February.
