Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons – AMOPS

Mission:  “To apply the military principles of organization and self-discipline to enhance student-physician achievement.”

- Provide group exercise opportunities, develop physical fitness goals, enhance physical stamina, improve self-confidence

Community Spirit:
- Support the community that provides a safe environment for learning and practicing medicine. Create name recognition for NYIT-COM through volunteer and outreach opportunities

Our Chapter: Organize expert lectures on military opportunities for military & civilian physicians; send care packages to deployed troops overseas; brief military students regarding officer training; foster a sense of community among military medical students & physicians in all branches of service; honor veterans for their service to our country.

Dues: Local – $15 for all 4 years; National – $60 for all 4 years
