Dr. Landman began the meeting going over upcoming conferences and research grant opportunities:

  • New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA) PGA meeting: 12/12-12/16 at Marriott Marquis Hotel in NYC
  • Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER): Research Grant Opportunities
  • AOCA annual conference: 9/28-10/1 in Scottsdale, AZ

Dr. Landman then presented the basics of endotracheal intubation covering the anatomy, physiology, and equipment necessary to perform the procedure. Attendees were broken up into 4 groups and had the opportunity to learn how to perform an endotracheal intubation.

The meeting adjourned at 1:00pm.
