The Intubation Workshop by the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists,
AOCA, was held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 12:00 p.m., in the William Rogers
Auditorium of NYIT-COM.

Board Members
Present: Justin Benoit (President), Anita Lui (Secretary), William Danial (Treasurer),
Mohammed Rahman (First-year Representative), Mark Baginski (Literature Representative)
Absent: Baruch Kim (Vice President)

The Advisor began the workshop with a presentation about Intubation.

She reminded the general assembly about the upcoming events in the field of
Anesthesiology:

The 40th Annual AOCA Mid-year Seminar will be held on March 15, 2013 through
March 17, 2013 at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Visit aocaonline.org

Society for Obstetrics Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP)’s 45th Annual Meeting will
be held on April 24-28, 2013 at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, PR. Visit soap.org for

International Anesthesia Research Society’s (IARS) annual meeting will be held on May
4-7, 2013 in San Diego, CA. Visit IARS.org for more information.

AOCA’s Annual conference will be held on September 22-25, 2013 at the Omni Sheraton
hotel in Washington, D.C.

AOCA’s Annual conference will be held on September 28 – October 1, 2014 at the
Westin hotel in Scottsdale, AZ.

The Advisor provided information for research opportunities through Foundation for
Anesthesia Education and Research with a deadline on February 1, 2013. Visit FAER.org for

The intubation workshop adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
