We were honored to have Dawn Quaresima, a Dahn Yoga instructor, speak to us about the basics of Dahn Yoga and its philosophies on healing. She led us into doing simple exercises to release stress and tension from our neck and shoulders, which can easily tense up during stress. Furthermore, Dawn was able to engage the audience by describing how energy in our bodies can positively or negatively affect our day-to-day health awareness and healing. It was a good way to see how Dahn yoga and medicine can complement each other. At the end of the meeting, we welcomed any first year student interested in signing up for an Eboard position.
