GHO Movie Night

On November 30, 2011, in Organization News, by GHO

On Thursday, November 17th GHO Movie Night was held at the Mollie Rogers Auditorium in the evening. The award winning documentary, “Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders”, was screened. The film is a raw and real depiction of the dilemmas facing MSF staff in the field and the toll their work can take on them both professionally and personally.

Around $300 was raised from this event, and proceeds went towards funding an ambulance project for the Jesse M. Rohdes Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-governmental agency, in the rural village of Oworobong, Ghana.
